This easy Autumn tart requires only the most approximate of measuring, with a deliciously decadent result that's perfect for sweater season.


  • 1 Pecan pie crust (6oz)
  • 1 Tin Gingerbread Cane Sugar
  • 1 1/2 Cups apple sauce
  • 1 1/2 Cups toasted pecans (roughly chopped)
  • 1/2 Cup condensed milk
  • 1/2 Cup caramel sauce
  • Preheat oven to 350F.
  • In a large bowl, combine all ingredients, stirring until well combined.
  • Place pecan pie crust in a ceramic tart dish, like this handsome one from Emile Henry, and fill with tart mixture.
  • Bake uncovered, for 45-50 minutes, then remove and allow to cool for at least 1 hour before slicing into it.
