Tuscany Seasoned Balsamic Bruschetta Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 4 Medium-sized tomatoes
  • 8 Small slices of rustic bread
  • 3 Garlic cloves
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 Tablespoon Taste of Tuscany seasoning blend (or more to taste)
  • 1/4 Cup balsamic vinegar (or Mirin)
  • 1 Tablespoon chopped fresh basil
  • 1/8 Cup extra virgin olive oil
  • 1/4 Cup mozzarella cheese, cut into thin slices or small cubes


Method:

  1. Dice tomatoes and place in bowl
  2. Mince 1 garlic clove into bowl
  3. Add balsamic and olive oil
  4. Add chopped basil
  5. Add salt and black pepper
  6. Add Taste of Tuscany seasoning blend and toss together well
  7. Refrigerate mixture and let sit for one hour
  8. Grill bread over moderately hot fire, turning every few minutes until brown
  9. Cut other two slices of garlic in half
  10. Using one end of exposed garlic, rub each slice of bread, gently squeezing to extract juices
  11. Scoop bruschetta mixture onto each slice
  12. Add mozzarella as the finishing touch and enjoy!
