Egyptian Chicken Kababs

Bring the za’tar home this summer with these kababs made in the simplest form. With only 3 real ingredients, these kababs possess juicy texture and rich flavor. The onion adds the perfect crunch to bind with the chicken and seasoning to balance the meal perfectly. A squeeze of citrus lemon pulls out the traditional and bold Middle Eastern flavors. This Egyptian Chicken Kabobs satisfy the palette and require little to no effort to craft in your very own kitchen.

Ingredients:

  • 12 Ounces chicken breast
  • Taste of Egypt Seasoning
  • One white onion
  • Lemon slices for garnish

Directions:

  1. Heat grill to medium-high heat
  2. Cut chicken into 1/4”-1/3” cubes
  3. Roll Chicken in Taste of Egypt seasoning
  4. Slice onion into squares (about 1/4” on each side)
  5. Using pre-soaked wooden skewers, place chicken and onion on skewers
  6. Flame-grill, turning every 3 minutes to ensure doneness
